Jean Loup Wolfman is an American actor and break dancer, appearing in film, theater, television and commercials. He was known as a Greenwich Village street kid from the NYC underground art scene of the 70's and minor NYC personality.

Jean Loup was born and raised on NY's iconic ''W 4th Street'' at the height of the Hippie, Punk and Club generations. His mother Janet Wolfman was an struggling creative artist on the fringes of the Warhol, Max's Kansas City and underground theater scene of the 1970's. Having escaped a small town in Connecticut , she came to New York to be an artist. She worked a number of odd jobs from, costuming, selling original crochets to Bloomingdale's , to babysitting various "rockers" children, at heroin fueled loft parties on the Bowery. Jean Loup was raised with the controversial "no rules" philosophy of child rearing called ''Summerhill'' , which gives children overall and complete freedom to make their own choices.
As the child of an overworked , single mother, Jean Loup spent most of his childhood , unsupervised; hanging out with the iconic playground basketball legends of the ''West 4th Street Cage'', roaming his second home, ''Washington Square Park, or at the 4th st'' hippie commune '',The Lamp Shop''.
As a street kid roaming the Village of the 70's with his mother, Jean Loup made childhood friends with the likes of Street comedian ''Charlie Barnett'', gardener ''Adam Purple'', and activist ''Abbie Hoffman''.
Jean Loup also spent his teen years taking part at the inception of the ''Rocky Horror Picture Show'', at the ''Waverly'' and then ''8th Street Playhouse'' taking part in the live Rocky "show within a show", and was friends with its founder ''Sal Piro''.
Jean Loup also claims to have been to a party at ''Andy Warhol's Factory'', as a baby in 1973, and to have gone with his mother to the famous concert in ''Woodstock'' , during the ''Summer Of Love'', in the year he was born 1969.
